And finally … the third instalment of the Top 50 Women to Watch in Tech. Read about the fist ten and second ten before digging in.

As always, this feat could not have been accomplished without our fabulous judges, Whitney Johnson , John Paul Aguiar and Mathew Ingram who unselfishly offered their time because they believed in the importance of highlighting these women. Please thank them by following them on Twitter, if you don’t already.

Without further ado, here are 10 women women in tech to watch (if you don’t already.) The list is in alphabetical order only.

Marci , CEO of POPVOX, started out as a recovery coordinator when her home town of Jackson, Tennessee was destroyed by a tornado. She worked with private and public organizations and state, local and federal agencies to marshall resources and rebuild. The experience led her to law school and eventually to Congress, where she worked as a Congressional staffer covering tax, trade, and health policy for then-Chairman of the Health Subcommittee of Ways and Means. She was committee lead for Medicare Program Integrity and Physician Payments Sunshine provisions of the House health reform bill. She left Capitol Hill in February 2010 to build POPVOX, a neutral, nonpartisan online advocacy platform meshing real-time legislative data with users’ personal stories & sentiment. She is based half in SF and half in DC.

22. Emily K Hickey: Unsung Hero

Emily was the former Chief Marketing Officer at Hashable and she also blogs it up at EarlyStager.com. (Emily couldn’t be reached for an updated bio or picture but we’ll keep trying!)

23. Stacey Higginbotham – Authorotative Voices

Stacey @gigastacey is a writer for GigaOM. She has spent the last 10 years covering technology and finance for publications such as The Deal, the Austin Business Journal, The bond Buyer and Bloomberg BusinessWeek.

Alex (@alexhodgson) is managing director and co-founder of 1DegreeBio, an online platform aimed at improving the communication, collaboration and transparency between the research community and commercial providers of biological reagents. 1DegreeBio’s mission is to assist researchers in sourcing top quality products, boost the reputation and sales of first-rate suppliers and support the advancement of science through a peer-to-peer global collaborative. Think “TripAdvisor” for Antibodies. Alex is based in Toronto.

Leila is the founder of Samasource, an award-winning social business that connects people living in poverty to — small, computer-based tasks that build skills and generates life-changing income. Janah is a frequent speaker on social entrepreneurship and technology, and her work has been profiled by CBS, CNN, NPR, the BBC, The New York Times, and The New Scientist. She serves on the board of the non-profit TechSoup Global and as an advisor to mobile shopping app Spreetales. She received the World Technology Award for Social Entrepreneurship in 2010, and in 2009 was named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Women in Tech.

Anneke is the director of Digital Media at Bre.ad, a social promotion platform for online marketing campaigns. She is a tech columnist for The Daily Muse, and her writing has been published in Forbes, The Huffington Post, and CBSnews.com. In addition to her background in digital media and social technology, she is passionate about the future of philanthropy, a topic she spoke about on the main stage at TED India in 2009. As a performance storyteller, she’s performed on stages across the country for The Moth, TEDx, and the NPR show “Snap Judgment.” She is based in Palo Alto, CA.

Web designer entrepreneur, Keri set up to increase the number of women in the UK (& beyond) involved in tech industries such as: web, mobile, programming, design, UX & UI. Web Heroines’ mission is to inspire women to start businesses, get better jobs, increase their skills & not feel isolated.

28. Erin Little-Game Changer

Erin is on a mission to make technology products affordable for even those living on less than $2 a day. By day she brings affordable water purification to the world as co-founder of Portapure, and convenes disruptive community as founder and co-chair of Chicago’s Acumen Fund by night. Erin recently founded Sucre Bleu, a nonprofit that supports diabetics in the developing world– offering preventative care & medical assistance.

Marian (@marianmangoubi @sassyceos) is the founder and CEO of SassyCEO, a media platform giving a voice to women entrepreneurs in the tech space and sharing their companies’ news with the world.

Angela is a technologist and cybersecurity executive. She synergizes her 18 years of strategic and technical experience within commercial, academic, and government environments to advise clients on next generation technologies and disruptive innovation. Angela’s executive leadership experience includes proven ability to lead and grow multi-million dollar technology businesses in diverse organizations ranging from Internet startups to Fortune 500 companies. She is an international best selling author and speaker at technology events.
