The latest Conference Board of Canada report reveals that while women have what it takes to become effective leaders, they don’t advance to the top because they lack the ability to self-promote.
A recent McKinsey report found that women lack the “sorts of networks that come more easily to men” and as a result, they “miss out on discussions with sponsors who might encourage them to stay in the line.”
