Helping women to Dress for Success
“Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world” - Marilyn Monroe
Dress for Success Toronto promotes economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing them with professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help them thrive. Founded in 2000, the organization has outfitted almost 10, 000 people and prepared them to feel confident (inside and out) while on the hunt for a new job.
On Thursday, October 25, Dress for Success Toronto had their 2nd annual Heel of a Good Time gala. “The gala provides financial support for the important work that we do to support women as they move from poverty to independence,” said Paige Souter, the Interim Executive Director of Dress for Success Toronto. “It also helps build a community of support for our clients as they undertake the hard work to make their dreams come true.”
